Sophrology is a technique made up of very practical and mental exercices, as well as breathing exercises. It is aimed at helping people to find his own resources to manage stress, improve sleep, reduce anxiety, build emotional resilience and prepare for challenging situations. In other words, it is there to improve your wellbeing.
A sophrology session can be done sitting down, standing up or even lying down if this is the only option (in case of sickness or extreme fatigue, for instance). It is recommanded to be comfortably dressed to practise. A session usually lasts about an hour.
Anyone can practise sophrology.
According to the preferences and needs, either Dynamic or olfactory sophrology can be experienced. Dynamic sophrology is a set of breathing and movement exercises. Olfactory sophrology consists in breathing exercises, visualizations and relaxation techniques, accompanied by the scents of essential oils.
Olfactotherapy is a mind/body technique using essential oils to find and relieve emotional issues. Olfactory system is directly linked to a part of the brain called 'limbic' brain. Scents are used to connect directly to that part of the brain, collect souvenirs, part of person's history. They are used to harmonize emotionally and sometimes physically the patient.
A session last about 1 hour - 1 hr 30 mins.
Want to relax and experience an energy healing ?
Reiki is an energy (hands-on) healing, originated from Japan. It is aimed at improving emotional, physical and mental well-being. It enables relaxation. It usually has a soothing effect on the body.
During a session, the client will sit in a comfortable chair or lie on a table, fully clothed.
The practitioner will place their hands lightly on or over specific areas of the patient’s head and body.
A reiki session lasts about 1 hr - 1hr 30.

It is a technique to learn patient to relax both mentally and physically, using the body as a media. Patient is usually lying down comfortably and the practitioner slightly moves parts of the patient’s body in order for the body to effectively lay down and relax. Then some pressure points are handled smoothly in order to further relax. The patient is clothed.
A relaxotherapy session lasts about 1.30H.
It is particularly indicated for persons subject to stress, anxiety and burn-outs.

Equipped with a MP3 player, PSiO is a pair of glasses which combines music or relaxation by voice with light stimulation (either pulse or continued).
PSIO sessions can be organized for you to discover the glasses. Specific sessions or workshops can also be booked on request, according to needs.
Sessions might last between a couple of minutes to about 50 mins, depending on objective. PSIO glasses cannot be used if you suffer from photosensitive epilepsy.
All those techniques are designed to improve well-being and do not substitute to medical treatments but have to be considered as complementary.
